Cascade Surgicenter is looking to add a Patient Services Specialist to our growing team of outstanding employees. Located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, Cascade Surgicenter (CSC) is the region’s premiere orthopedic and neurosurgery surgical center. Primary Responsibilities
- Greet patients, visitors, and medical staff in a consistently friendly and courteous manner.
- Check-in patients at front desk.
- Marks and obtains all necessary signatures to complete chart.
- Answer in-coming calls; respond to voicemail and fax requests.
- Process insurance co-payments.
- Maintain, verify, and update patient demographics and insurance information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Prepare patient charts, upload documentation into appropriate systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment within stated guidelines.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as a productive individual contributor.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
