General Laborer

Cascade Well and Pump Co. of Santa Barbara, CA, specializes in air and mud rotary drilling services throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara County. We are seeking a general laborer. This position will assist our pump crew and drill crew as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites.
• Loads and unloads materials from trucks or trailers.
• Assist with installing materials and components, such as pumps, piping, and controllers.
• Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, hauling, and carrying materials.
• Utilize power tools and other equipment to complete tasks.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials. Picking up materials.
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards.
• Moves equipment, tools, and supplies manually by hand and/or truck.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned, to support the pump crew or drill crew on the job site.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Must be willing to follow instructions and pick up learning quickly eagerly.
• Must come to work in proper attire, including steel-toe boots and clean pants. The company supplies work shirts.
• An ability to follow directions and function well as part of a team.
• Must be able to have own transportation to and from work Meet at our shop in Ventura at 6:30 a.m. and drive to the job site with the team in a company truck.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must hold a valid California Driver’s License
• Clean driving record, DMV printout required
• No DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Pre-employment Exam and Drug Test Required (company paid)
• Three references that will vouch for your skills, abilities, and qualifications.

Job Type:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Hourly Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 (occasional overtime and double-time)
