Duties/Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers in a retail setting, educating on all Cascade Wine and spirits products and assisting in finding the right selections.
• Drive retail sales by promoting products through in-store interactions, tastings, and exceptional customer service.
• Pour wine and liquor samples for customers while adhering to OLCC serving laws.
• Maintain strong relationships with retail partners to ensure proper product placement and brand visibility.
• Track and report sales performance, customer preferences, and market trends to support business growth.
• Assist in merchandising and maintaining product displays to uphold brand standards.
• Participate in retail and promotional events.
• Work independently in the retail location.
• Process customer transactions, returns, and exchanges using the store’s point-of-sale system.
• Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, and place special orders when needed.
• Relay customer feedback and insights to management to improve products and retail strategies.
• Occasionally assist at Portland events, including handling cash transactions, event setup and takedown, product placement, and inventory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively engage with customers.
• Comfortable with handling transactions and using point-of-sale systems.
• Must be 21 and able to obtain necessary permits for alcohol sales/tastings.
• Ability to drive in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Education, Experience and Certifications:

• 1 years experience of wine/spirits, sampling, and/or promotional work is preferred.
• Must be 21 and over.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state-specific permit/license to sell liquor.
• Must possess a valid Driver License and reliable vehicle.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry it 100 feet repeatedly.

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
