What you'll do at Cascade:

As the Disclosure Desk Assistant Manager, you will oversee day to day operations involving loan disclosures including initial disclosures, rate locks, change of circumstances, state and federal disclosures, etc., and ensure the timeliness and accuracy.
How you’ll do it:
- Training team members to ensure mortgage disclosures are being sent in accordance with specified Compliance regulations including:
- State and Federal
- Government and Investor
- Custom Disclosures
- Ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are adhered to for all functions of the Disclosure Desk team
- Actively Monitoring pipelines, dashboards, and Bots or other automatic processes to ensure timeliness of each task completion
- Communicating between all departments, including origination, processing, closing, and compliance, and I.T. to produce compliant disclosures and meet regulatory guidelines
- Successfully Interpret internal compliance tools, such as Mavent, Encompass Alerts, disclosure matrices, etc.
- Delegating tasks based on Team Member competency and strengths
- Refining training materials, policies and procedures, operational practices, checklists, etc. to ensure maximum efficiency of task execution
- Responding to quality control audits, fee changes, remediation that specifically affect disclosure desk
- Troubleshooting and Testing of current and new automation
- Working Knowledge of TRID, HMDA, FACTA, ECOA, TILA
- Interviewing, Hiring, Training, Motivating, Performance Managing, and Team Member Satisfaction while adhering to HR guidelines and company culture
- Assisting with other duties as necessary
What you’ll need to join Cascade:
- 3 years front-end mortgage experience, ideally with Conventional, FHA, and VA loan products with compliance responsibilities
- Proven understanding of how TRID, HMDA, FACTA, ECOA, and RESPA/TILA guidelines and timing requirements impact specific documents and workflow for multiple roles
- Proven ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and keep accurate records
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing workloads
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing skills
- Project/change management in relation to creating and implementing new process
- Outstanding customer service skills and judgement, including when to escalate issues
