Hello, Cascades at Galveston in Galveston, TX is actively looking to hire an Interim Director of Nursing. This position is available immediately. We need help between now and May 5 when our permanent DON starts work.
We require prior SNF DON experience, a current Texas Registered Nurse license, and a professional attitude.
You'd be required to be on-site at least 8 hours per work day, Mon-Fri. Additional hours as needed, to ensure consistent excellent patient care.
Job Description:
- Implement Cascades Healthcare nursing policies and procedures, in concert with local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum associate degree. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must possess a Texas State Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum one year of successful nursing leadership experience in a long-term care facility or other geriatric healthcare facility
- Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
- Must speak and understand English
- Genuine love & concern for the geriatric population!
