Cascades at Port Arthur is a fantastic skilled nursing facility located in Port Arthur, TX. We provide exceptional short-term rehab and long-term care for our beloved geriatric residents.
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse or LVN to become our new Assistant Director of Nursing. Prior ADON experience is preferred, not required.

Job Description:
Assist the Director of Nursing with:
- Active management of clinical systems
- Nursing staff scheduling, interviewing, hiring/firing
- Team building, morale building, motivating the clinical team to provide the finest patient care
- Assist with development/maintenance of nursing programs and activities
- Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charts, etc.
- Any additional functions as directed by the DON

Requirements:
- Minimum associate degree. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Texas RN or LPN license in good standing
- Minimum one year of successful nursing leadership experience in a long-term care facility preferred
- Minimum two years' skilled nursing facility nursing experience required
- Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
- Must speak and understand English
