- Base Salary for PROJECT MANAGER – PULP & PAPER is: $95k - $140k
- Total Cash Compensation is: Base Salary Profit Sharing Target %
- Salary based on relevant experience, strengths and requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide process technical support in the paper mill in solving day-to-day problems.
- Collaborate with all departments to assess the plants’ processes and share expertise to trouble-shoot and improve current procedures.
- Conduct continuous improvement projects in quality, productivity, and cost by using scientific and statistical methods.
- Assist with analysis, evaluation and recommendations with capital projects, commissioning of new equipment and all other tasks that require advanced technical support.
- Support the team in preventative and predictive maintenance work through innovative projects in engineering.
- Implement standardized manufacturing practices while implementing equipment management best practices.
- Manage capital projects and engineering projects with funding and without.
- Work within teams to utilize best manufacturing engineering practices to support innovative solutions
Relevant Experience & Strengths
- Understanding and expertise with programs such as CAD, Solidworks and Microsoft projects
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
- Ability to influence and engage employees to support change and engineering processes to improve the operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5-7 years of manufacturing engineering experience in projects and processes.
- Experience with maintenance planning & Computerized Maintenance Management Software. (SAP preferred)
