Key Responsibilities:
- Agency & Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies to ensure consistent staffing, proactively identify opportunities for collaboration between different agencies, manage jurisdictional relationships to create fair officer assignments, and negotiate contracts
- Client & Project Management: Serves as point of contact for clients ensuring open communication and responsiveness to needs, oversees officer staffing and schedules, ensure compliance with reporting standards, and monitors service quality
- Business Development: Secure new contracts, expand client base, and increase market share
- Operational Leadership: Develop strategies, manage logistics, and mentor staff to ensure high-performance standards are met. Must be able to lead by example and make swift decisions, both financial and operational, while considering long and short-term goals
- Travel & Networking: Travel as needed (1-2 nights per month for day travel; occasional out-of-state travel for business expansion). Visit law enforcement agencies as well as prospective private sector clients in person to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and maintain a high level of visibility and brand recognition
- Law Enforcement Background: Strong knowledge of Texas law enforcement structures, with the ability to manage both county and municipal jurisdictions and off-duty assignment management
- Excellent business negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience managing complex projects, officers, and client relationships. Must have excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met ina timely manner
- Strong physical presence and professional appearance are critical to building trust and credibility within the law enforcement community
- Must demonstrate discipline, confidence, and poise when representing Cascadia in client and law enforcement meetings
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and persuasive messaging
