Executive Director (OR) POSITION SUMMARY The Executive Director (ED) helps create joyful and vibrant communities by overseeing all aspects of the community, including operations, staffing, resident care, and regulatory compliance.  The ED is responsible for communicating the vision of the organization and consistently demonstrating our Mission and Values. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Supervises, oversees and monitors departments and programs; ensures efficient organization and management systems are operating at optimum level consistent with the overall policies and procedures of the company. Fosters a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff. Assures that all residential care facilities, corporate and community policies and procedures are followed. Supervises and oversees all resident programs and projects operated under the guidance of the company. Confers with residents, other individuals, groups, and outside agencies having interest or potential interest in the affairs of the community; explain policies and programs to the public as necessary. Oversees and directs the development and administration of the annual budget; forecast when additional funds may be needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitor and approve expenditures; implement mid-year adjustments. Prepares and presents reports to senior leadership as requested. Represent Cascadia Senior Living in community and professional meetings. Lead a team of staff members, including hiring, training, and supervising employees. Obtain bids/contracts for projects, services, programs consistent with the needs of the community; oversee performance of contractors. Manages OLCC requirements in accordance with State, County, & Federal laws for a Full-On Premises Sales License including staff training & permit requirements. Attends and participates in required meetings and trainings. Stays current on all system assigned tasks and duties. Perform other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Current Oregon ALF/RCF license required within 6 months. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in Assisted Living or a similar healthcare setting preferred. Proficient in English with basic math skills. Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities, remaining calm in emergencies. Excellent public speaking and communication skills. Meets state-mandated health requirements. Emphasizes high-quality resident care and professional interaction. Maintains a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Capable of understanding financial statements and staffing schedules. Demonstrates empathy and a passion for working with seniors. Holds current CPR/First Aid, Food Handlers, and OLCC Alcohol Servers certifications. Passes a criminal background and fingerprint check. Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn new applications. Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Self-motivated and able to work independently. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Salary : $95,000 - $98,000
