Casco Bay Insulation Sales Manager/Estimator
Casco Bay Insulation is a high-performance insulation company specializing in the comprehensive, whole house approach to residential energy efficiency. We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our growing company. The available position primarily involves working with residential building contractors who have an interest in high performance building envelopes and systems.
What Will Be Asked of You:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of project flow/management strategies
- Assist in the selection and implementation of project management/estimating software
- Cultivate new relationships with builders who have an interest in high performance building envelopes
- Perform jobsite sales visits all over Southern Maine
- Interpret building plans to create accurate and detailed agreements in a timely manner
- Coordinate billing activities with accounting to ensure customers are billed in a timely manner
- Effectively transfer packaged insulation projects to field management and insulation crews
- Frequently evaluate and discuss building envelope strategies using modern building science principals
- Attain and maintain a BPI (Building Performance Institute) energy auditor certification (on our dime)
- Perform blower door testing on all completed new construction projects
- Represent Casco Bay Insulation at trade show and community events (2-3 a year)
Ideal Skills and Attributes:
- Field experience in the residential weatherization or insulation industry
- Innovative, confident, self-starter who is ready to work independently
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Building science knowledge/background
- Ability to learn new software programs, experience using construction estimating software
- Sales experience in the building trades, preferably in the weatherization/insulation industry
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- The ability to practice empathy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
