What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Technician position at CASCO Civil?
CD Companies is seeking AutoCAD and Civil3D designers/drafters to be an integral part of its design teams. We are looking for someone eager for growth and opportunity, who will enjoy working with complete in-house project teams and directly with our leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up, maintaining, and producing plans, contract documents and electronic design drawings in AutoCAD and/or Civil3D by coordinating and compiling multidiscipline backgrounds
- Performing preliminary design tasks necessary for project completion
- Collaborating with team members in multiple departments
- Providing support to engineers, project managers, and project designers
- Correcting internal markups and providing initial quality control checks on deliverable packages
Qualifications:
- Related technical and /or associates degree
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D software
- Experience with an architectural or engineering firm
- Be motivated by growth opportunities
- Passion for learning and aptitude to learn multiple disciplines
