Job Summary:

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of multiple sites across the Portland area. The Cleaning Supervisor will lead a team of cleaners and ensure that all cleaning activities are done in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. This is a working supervisor role, and you will also participate in the cleaning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff across multiple sites in the Saco/Biddeford area
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and protocols for all assigned sites
• Train and coach new and existing cleaning staff to ensure proper techniques and procedures are followed
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained in proper condition
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as needed
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Manage employee schedules, time-off requests, and work assignments
• Conduct performance reviews and address any performance concerns in a timely manner
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
• Complete and submit necessary reports and paperwork to management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning or janitorial industry
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and equipment
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience managing staff schedules and assignments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
