Now, you’re probably wondering a little more about what we are looking for, so here it is:
- High School Diploma or GED – Required
- Previous customer service experience – preferred
- Previous financial services industry experience – preferred
- Basic knowledge of annuities, insurance, securities, and investment advisory products and services (preferred but not required)
- Basic knowledge of key financial planning topics (preferred but not required)
- Basic knowledge of office procedures and of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic
- Proficient knowledge of the English language
- Basic skill in talking to others to convey information effectively
- Proficient skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Proficient organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn about financial planning topics
- Ability to enter data with precision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to provide a high level of professionalism with internal and external clients via face-to-face, phone and e-mail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
- Competent ability to consider multiple perspectives, including, but not limited to, those of Financial Service Professionals and other Gradient Companies
Want some more specifics? If you join the Case Central crew, here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Gather, analyze, and summarize financial information provided by FSP
- Create financial planning reports and run product illustrations as instructed
- Work to become a resource for our FSPs regarding our software, our products, and key financial planning concepts
- Provide case redesign based on progression of case/appointment process
- Manage communication among parties involved, including Case Central team members, Gradient team members (including Marketers) and the FSP
- Establish relationships with FSPs and cross-functional Gradient employees
- Meet required measurable, by completing percentage proportionate of workload by report type
- Upon reviewing the case, aid the sales process by identifying case design opportunities including: additional reports that may add value, strategies the FSP could implement, potential product categories that could benefit the consumer and proactively engage with the FSP on strategies to implement
- Identify case design opportunities on providing referrals to Gradient companies
- All other duties as assigned
