What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Repair position at Case Farms, LLC?
OVERVIEW ::

Must have general Maintenance knowledge, light to medium welding skills, Forklift Operating experience and the ability to become licensed. Must have a vaild driver's license, preferable a CDL. Must be able to work flexible hours with some Saturday work. Must be dependable and self-motivated.
Inspect, repair, clean, and sanitize live haul trailers/cages in accordance with DOT and company guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
- Cleaning and maintaining Live Haul trailers, cages and facilities
- Perform all necessary paperwork associated with the assigned job (i.e. work orders, charge parts, etc.).
- Inspect and repair cages, adhering to DOT and animal welfare guidelines and regulations.
- Drive various heavy-duty equipment such as forklifts and trucks safely.
- General housekeeping duties, maintaining neat, clean, and orderly work area.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Relative maintenance experience (e.g., cutting, grinding, welding, etc.).
- Basic math functions and skills.
- Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
- Ability to operate yard equipment (e.g., forklift, yard truck, tractor, etc.)
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours.
- Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

- Stand up to 8 hours. Lift up to 60 lbs.
- Frequent exposure to an outdoor environment.
- Frequently reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
