The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, screen, and hire qualified candidates across a variety of roles. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting hiring goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
- Responsible for full life cycle recruitment efforts to staff hourly employees at designated manufacturing plant.
- Assist with salaried staffing as needed.
- Represents company at career fairs and community events.
- Participates in developing and implementing department/ company policies, goals, objectives, and systems.
- Constantly evaluates HR policies and methods; Develops HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information; Recommends best practices/courses of action.
- Supervises HR functions such as staffing, communications, training, reporting, unemployment, I-9, etc.
- Manages daily flow of inquiries from employees, delegating issues as needed, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely feedback.
- Maintains compliance with Federal and State regulations concerning employment.
- May be responsible for conducting new-employee orientations.
- Cultivates a positive working environment; Fosters productive working relationships among team members; Builds and strengthens relationships within the team; Serves as an excellent example to others.
- Fosters Company culture through constant contact with employees/ community outreach.
- Consistently enforces Company policies, safety standards, quality standards, SOPs, and GMPs.
- Demonstrates knowledge of all hands-on duties related to recruiting.
- High School Diploma/ GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a recruiting role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to interface effectively at all levels of the company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills must include Microsoft Office and an applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Proven leadership: demonstrated ability to lead people and gain positive results through others.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Possesses organizational and prioritization skills; plans work activities well; uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans; excellent multi-tasking and scheduling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands.
- Responds to the direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
- Local travel required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Valid driver's license required.
