What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scale Operator- 3rd Shift position at Case Farms, LLC?
The Weighmaster (Scale Operator) is responsible for weighing full and empty trailers upon arrival and departure from the plant. They are responsible for all paperwork and recording of all regulatory and accounting documentation. Usually works five to six days a week; overtime may be required based on production needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
Responsible for weighing full and empty trailers upon arrival and departure from the plant. Responsible for coordinate driver live haul scheduling. The weighmaster will communicate with chicken growers, catch crew, and the live haul supervisor to ensure daily operations proper function and flow. Responsible for printing weight tickets and providing it to appropriate departments. Answers phones, emails, and questions by drivers and others. Assists in other clerical duties, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent attendance record. Be able to work with little or no supervision. Excellent computer skills including electronic mail, data entry a must. Good organizational skills and follow through. Communicate effectively with other hourly employees and plant management. Ability to work under stressful situations, deadlines, and sometimes conflicting timelines.
