Monitor quality of eggs and chicks.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
- Egg packs-Verify cleanliness, monitor for cracks.
- Checking for fertility, pull eggs that are infertile.
- Record data on paper and on the computer.
- Observe employees confirm compliance with hatchery sanitation practices.
- Ensure all animal welfare and bio security policies are followed, participate in monthly audit.
- Perform process checks throughout the production, sanitation, and warehousing areas of the company.
- Perform Pre-operational checks, sanitation verification, and water temperature testing. Knowledge of GMP’s.
- 18 years old.
- Basic math and literacy.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Basic computer operation skills.
- Must be able to work in an environment with dust and/or chemicals.
- Prior experience in Quality Control.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Minimum of a High School education (additional schooling preferred).

- Work standing or walking for most working shifts.
- Perform various physical duties, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, and walking.
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 db and will be required to wear hearing protection.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
- Must handle the weight of 8 to 10 lbs. repetitively, occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling 40 to 70 lbs.
- Exposure to dust, feathers, and chemicals used throughout the facility.
- Ability to work in a stationary position, on feet for the entire shift.
