Case Management Unit is hiring an Associate Engagement Specialist!
This position requires a energetic and positive person who reports to the Director of Operations and participates in and supports the recruitment of new employees, retention and engagement of current employees in areas of career development, social events, and Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI)I initiatives. This position processes and handles sensitive and confidential information in the Human Resources department.
This is a part time position. 22.5 hours weekly.
1. Recruitment
-Advertises employment opportunities internally and externally including posting of positions on Indeed and LinkedIn.
-Attends employment/career/community fairs to obtain potential applicants
-Monitor and process incoming resumes and initiates correspondence for qualification determination
-Schedules interviews with potential candidates utilizing Microsoft Outlook scheduling assistant
-Setup of workstation/office and mailbox nametags for new hires/separations
2. Retention and Engagement
-Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
-Lead agency Social Events Club monthly meetings and events, seek approval for proposed events from Senior Leadership Team, monitor retention budget.
-Order business cards for employees upon successful completion of six-month probationary period
-Send courtesy cards to staff for major life events (marriage, death in family, birth of child, etc.)
-Provides meeting setup/support of monthly Board of Directors meetings. Coordinates and receives lunch order for monthly meetings.
3.General HR Support Functions
-Filing of paperwork in employee personnel files
-Fill requests for copies of HR documents for current or previous employees
-Scans, faxes, copies and composes material as needed
-Scan training documents into OnBase
-Purchase or prepare branding materials for events
This is a confidential management position and not eligible for bargaining unit status.
Accessibility to a vehicle is necessary.
Act 33/34 clearances are required.
Minimum Experience: High School diploma or equivalent; strong positive interpersonal skills, college credits preferred; at least three (3) years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
