DUTIES : Design, develop and implement technical solutions for University's Enrollment Management systems. Functions as a business and project manager by balancing multiple projects and priorities within and across systems and customers for Enrollment Management. Plans and coordinates multiple interfaces between three major student information systems in Enrollment Management. Completes project lifecycle, works independently and with emphasis on all customer facing activities. Translates complex business and operational requirements into designs and technical specifications. Serves as a key member of the division of Enrollment Management’s technical team. Attends regular meetings with user groups within the division and the university. Uses query functions for exception analysis and recommends and implements process improvements. Participates in cross-functional Enrollment Management teams to help solve complex business process or information systems issues involving interfaces with systems used across Enrollment Management. Solves organizational data challenges, diagnoses software problems, and recommends solutions. Responsible for the integrity and security of admissions and financial aid data. Creates data-driven, analytical business processes across multiple systems and procedures and implements delivery systems that enhance the department’s business processes. Prepares detailed specifications and implements interfaces (export and import) to keep all Enrollment Management information systems and SIS data synchronized. Utilizes ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process for data files from the US Department of Education and private systems, including College Board and ECSI – Education Computer Systems, Inc., to assist in the administration of financial aid funding for all enrolled students. Supports onboarding of matriculated students utilizing Slate to provide checklist items and guidance to students prior to the start of the semester. Configures and develops systems integrations as new software are used by the Enrollment Management group including outside vendors. Performs analysis of requests for bug fixes and enhancements including effort estimates. Analyzes system data, processes, and systems interactions to identify and evaluate impacts of maintenance and enhancement changes to on-going production. Create and keep current operational procedures for Enrollment Management. Remote work permitted up to 40% of the week.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Database Developer, or related role. Must also have experience with : Data analysis; system integration; Data flow; Working and configuring Windows OS; PC configuration; PC / server hardware components; and Microsoft Access.
FULL-TIME SALARY : $63,055 per year
