Casella Construction is seeking to hire a Seasonal & Temporary Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our Construction Team in the Greater Lebanon, NH area. The Snow Removal Equipment Operator is responsible for the removing snow from roadways and parking lots throughout the winter season.

Casella Construction is open to considering Seasonal or Temporary candidates for this role.

The ideal person for this role is a self-motivated, hands on, and attentive Snow Removal Equipment Operator who wants to contribute to a team by executing challenging projects to the highest standards, and who displays an unwavering commitment to professionalism, integrity, and safety. embraces innovation and is an Industry leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a safe work environment
  • Safely operates construction and snow removal equipment including loaders, plow trucks and other related snow equipment to complete job tasks
  • Conducts Daily pre and post equipment inspections
  • Monitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation of equipment
  • Maintains records of time worked and materials used
  • Completes daily paperwork
  • Safely operates plow truck as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School or GED preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 3-5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator (Loader)
  • Certified Salt Applicator preferred
  • Understanding of safety rules and regulations
  • Must be able to work some weekends and or nights, when needed
  • Ability to participate in regulatory trainings (First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10, Flagging, Spotter)
  • Must have, or be able to obtain a DOT medical card

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb inclines for the duration of the shift
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather

  • Great hand, eye, and foot coordination
  • Exhibit attention to detail
  • Familiar with Safety Protocols
  • Proficiency in math and reading
