About This Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automated Side Load CDL Driver to join our team at Casella Waste Systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of automated side load trucks, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular pre-post trip inspections of assigned vehicles to ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Route Execution: Safely maneuver assigned vehicles on designated routes, navigating high traffic areas and providing excellent customer service.
- Customer Service: Provide a high level of service to customers, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
- Paperwork and Reporting: Complete all assigned company and federally mandated paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Training and Development: Attend and participate in all scheduled training programs and meetings, as required by Casella or Manager.
Requirements:
- A valid Class A or B CDL License
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
