**Job Description**
Casella Waste Systems Inc. is seeking an Environmental Compliance Intern to support our PC&E team in various tasks, including supporting air/waste/water permitting, engineering construction, and environmental compliance projects.
**Key Tasks Include:**
- Preparing technical reports, reviewing engineering designs, collecting environmental samples, observing and documenting field activities, and compiling and analyzing data.
- Collaborating with facility management to maintain local, state, and federal permits.
- Participating in engineering design, contractor procurement, and construction management meetings and site visits to support successful facility development projects.
- Compiling, organizing, and analyzing engineering and capital construction costs, including third-party contractor and consultant bids.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
The successful candidate will be enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related degree program, have legal eligibility to work in the US, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel among company facilities.
