**About the Role:**
Casella Waste Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Environmental Systems Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing environmental monitoring of water, leachate, and gas systems at our landfill facilities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain and repair landfill equipment and control systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Complete daily reports on equipment readings, data collection interpretation, and field observations.
- Perform routine sampling and analysis of environmental conditions at the landfill.
- Develop a thorough understanding of applicable state and federal regulations related to landfill operations.
**Requirements:**
- High school or technical school education.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working on energy recovery systems or similar equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 75lbs on occasion.
