**Role Description**
Casella Waste Systems Inc. is seeking an Environmental Compliance Intern to assist our PC&E team with various tasks, including air/waste/water permitting, engineering construction, and environmental compliance projects.
**Duties Include:**
- Collecting data and producing technical reports, tabulating data, and preparing charts, graphs, and sketches.
- Summarizing environmental regulations and recommending applicability for facilities and collaborating with facility management to maintain local, state, and federal permits.
- Attending engineering design, contractor procurement, and construction management meetings and site visits to support successful facility development projects.
- Organizing and analyzing engineering and capital construction costs, including third-party contractor and consultant bids.
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related degree program, have legal eligibility to work in the US, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel among company facilities.
