Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Waste Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting drivers in completing customer routes while providing exceptional customer service and adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Main Responsibilities:
- Load and unload residential and commercial containers into trucks manually or mechanically.
- Maneuver containers that are staged curbside, dockside, carryout, or require pullout to complete service.
- Operate hoisting devices to lift and empty bins or containers into truck hoppers.
- Place bins serviced at customer locations back in their original position with covers securely closed.
- Assist drivers with backing maneuvers on route.
- Loading trash and recycling into rear load trucks in varying weather conditions.
- Lift 50 pounds constantly throughout the day, maintaining stamina to complete physically demanding duties.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
