We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced dental clinic environment. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain accurate patient records and files, ensuring compliance with health information management standards.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for patient management and billing processes.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in verifying insurance information and processing claims using ICD-10 codes as necessary.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks, including correspondence and inventory management.
- Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or medical administrative support role is preferred.
- Familiarity with office management practices and health information management systems is essential.
- Proficiency in using dental software applications such as Athenahealth or Epic is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
