Coming later this year we will open Hotel Willa in Taos, New Mexico, and Hotel Lucille in the heart of Los Angeles in the neighborhood of Silverlake. A project in upstate New York in the town of Hudson kicks off this summer. The portfolio is expanding at an intentional yet fast pace.
Reporting to: Restaurant Supervisor-Manager / Restaurant General Manager
Summary of Position: A busser is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area by clearing tables, resetting them for new guests, and assisting servers with refills and food delivery. They help ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for customers by keeping the restaurant clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest inquiries or complaints.
- Assist with scheduling, training, and mentoring employees.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Oversee cash handling, sales, and financial transactions.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
- Support management in enforcing policies and ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and order.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing or walking.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
