We create and operate hotels in places we love to visit! Our portfolio includes Casa Cody in the heart of iconic Palm Springs, The Pearl Hotel in San Diego, Hotel Marina Riviera in Big Bear Lake as well as The Surfrider in Malibu. Coming later this year we will open Hotel Willa in Taos, New Mexico, and Hotel Lucille in the heart of Los Angeles in the neighborhood of Silverlake. A project in upstate New York in the town of Hudson kicks off this summer. The portfolio is expanding at an intentional yet fast pace.
Reporting to: Rooms Supervisor/Hotel Manager
Summary of Position: The night auditor is responsible for running all overnight duties at the Front Desk, responding to guest needs, special requests, and complaints, and alerts the appropriate manager as needed, assists other departments as needed, and prepares end-of-day reports.
Responsibilities:
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
- Responding to guests' needs, requests, and complaints.
- Answering the phone and making reservations.
- Summarizing each night's operations and listing any follow-up tasks for management.
- Following End of Day procedures.
- Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
- Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
- Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Balance the day’s charges, making corrections as necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous hotel-related experience desired.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
