We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff UX Designer to join our Design Team at Caseware, a leading SaaS organization. As a Staff UX Designer, you will play a critical role in designing exceptional user experiences for our cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics solutions that empower accounting professionals worldwide.
You will work closely with the Product, Engineering, and Design Teams to create intuitive, user-centred designs that help our customers work more intelligently, gain deeper insights, and deliver impactful results.

What Will You Be Doing
- Working in cross-functional teams own the end-to-end user experience for high-impact projects with broad scope and complexity
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, user needs, and technological capabilities/constraints
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and validate designs to ensure they meet user needs
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions
- Champion design best practices and contribute to the evolution of our design system to ensure consistent user experience across all Caseware products
- Stay current with UX design trends, tools, and emerging technologies in the accounting and audit software industry
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation including user flows, interaction models, and design specifications
- Help resolve customer-impacting design issues, ensuring the quickest and safest resolutions
- Contribute to the overall design strategy and vision for Caseware's products
- Assist in cross-department design initiatives that enhance the overall product ecosystem
- Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to fellow designers
- Mentor other designers, providing constructive feedback and helping grow their skillsets
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 8 years of experience in UX design, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Experience conducting user research and applying insights to improve designs
- Solid understanding of design systems and component-based design
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and designing for diverse user needs
- Excellent communication skills to present design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate complex financial and accounting concepts into intuitive user experiences
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment with rapid iteration cycles
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-platform user experiences
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping
- Design systems implementation and management
- Angular components for implementation references
- User research and testing platforms
- Collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Confluence
