Job Summary:
The part time Sr. Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the office of the CEO and Strategic Engagement Initiatives team. Works with Casey staff, collaborators, and partners in support of the work unit goals. This position is 20 hours a week with benefits coverage.
Essential Responsibilities: |

· Provides a wide range of event support. Records minutes at planning meetings. Plans and collects information on event logistics including participant scheduling, location, virtual meeting requirements and agenda. Assists in the creation of conference materials, project plans and timelines. |

· Assists Strategic Engagement & Initiatives team in research and development of reports and preparation of documents. Collaborates with the Communications work unit to coordinate production of collateral materials for conferences and events. Provides assistance with ad hoc projects. |

· Provides support for various projects to include research for the CEO, communications with select partners, United Way Annual Campaign, and the annual holiday luncheon as well as other ad-hoc meetings. |

· Provides general office support, including: ordering supplies, arranging travel, calendar support, and uploading and monitoring approved contracts and requests into Casey Family Programs’ contract management system. |

· Assists work unit staff with financial processes including invoices, employee expense reports, and credit card reconciliations. Ensures compliance with Casey’s financial policies and procedures. |

Qualifications:
- An associate’s degree and at least 3 years of administrative support experience are required. Working experience in a similar role may be substituted for a degree.
- Strong organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication skills are needed.
- A broad knowledge of computer software is required. Advanced skills in the Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are desired.
- Proven success in working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment is required.
- Ability to protect the confidentiality of sensitive information by learning and following all relevant policies and protocols and using sound judgment in the handling and sharing of that information.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and reach for light objects; close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, text, and figures; ability to type utilizing a computer keyboard; ability to travel to outside locations; and the ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time as a primary job function. This position is based at our Seattle Headquarters.
The base salary for this role in Seattle, WA is $26.68 to $31.39 an hour.

Employees that meet certain tenure qualifiers are eligible for up to eight weeks of parental leave for the birth or placement of a child for adoption or foster care. After the completion of 10 years of continuous, full-time employment, employees in good standing are eligible for a three-month sabbatical with pay.
