Responsibilities
As a Junior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting senior designers on all design projects from concept to completion
- Providing design and documentation support and leadership on projects of various sizes and complexities
- Developing presentations, drawings, selection palettes, and specifications
- Managing all projects and its subs; updating senior designers and other project consultants on progress
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of project requirements and details
- Communicating with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of interior design experience
- Bachelor's degree required (Architecture, Interior Design, or related field)
- Strong design portfolio
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. Studio Designer is a plus.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketchup are preferred
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in iOS, Microsoft Office, and/or G-Suite
- Aptitude to learn new software
- Ability to multitask; meet deadlines, and eager to grow with the company
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Confident, efficient, and collaborative
