About The Role
The Intermediate Interior Designer is responsible for assisting in delivering all design requirements. The ideal candidate will have exceptional design skills, a background in interior design and a portfolio of innovative design concepts. The Intermediate Interior Designer is an integral part of the design team who will coordinate the administration, production and execution of projects.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with Senior Interior Designer supporting design and technical skills
- Team with designer and management to drive sales
- Design and documentation support and leadership on projects of various sizes and complexities
- Ability to conceptualize unique design concepts and solutions
- Develop presentations and 3D renderings
- Ability to effectively communicate design intent through sketches, drawings, detail and specifications
- Update the Senior Designer, Design Principal, and other project consultants
- Thorough understanding of project requirements and concepts
- Generate presentation material (computer models, drawings, precedent images)
- Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants and fellow employee
What We’re Looking For
- 5- 7 yrs of Professional experience in Interior Design
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or related field
- Strong design portfolio
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. Studio Designer is a plus.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketchup are preferred
- Proficient in iOS, Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication and skills
- Overall aptitude to learn new software
- Ability to multitask; meet deadlines and is eager to grow with the company
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Confident, efficient and collaborative
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000 - $95,000/year, depending on experience
