What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Mechanic position at Cash-Wa Distributing?
Work in a small, but fast-moving team environment with a short turnaround time for getting trucks and trailers ready for the next morning's routes.
Duties performed by the team include basic servicing to maintain the equipment, performing brake jobs, doing trailer repairs, clutch adjustments and repairs, cooling system repairs, and more.
Internal, on-the-job training is done to help improve the team, and additional outside training may be available as training opportunities come available with our partners, or as needs dictate. Important Information
- 5-Day Work Schedule (with overtime potential) Day hours : 8am - 5pm (Monday – Friday) Evening hours : 10pm - 7am (Sunday – Thursday)
- 4-Day Work Schedule (with overtime potential) Day hours : 7am - 6pm (Monday – Thursday, or Tuesday-Friday) Evening hours : 2pm – 1am (Sunday – Wednesday, or Monday-Thursday)
- 500 annual tool allowance
- Pay scale is $22-31 / hr, depending on experience
- Eligible for insurance the first of the month after 60 days! Extremely low rates for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
