Freight Buster (Dry or Perishable Warehouse)
Trucks need unloaded – who ya gonna call? Freight Busters! This day-time receiving job is with H & S Lumper Services who exclusively works for Cash-Wa Distributing. As a large distribution center, we regularly have semi truckloads of product being delivered to our facility. This position plays an important part in the distribution process by unloading the trucks, at times breaking down the loads, and then delivering to the warehouse isle that it belongs to. In this role you will use a forklift and a pallet jack as needed (experience is preferred, but we are willing to train). It is a very active position that will involve physical moving product at times. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 pounds. When there is not a truck to unload, will stay busy doing housekeeping and other duties as needed. Current openings are in our perishable warehouse.
- Hours: 6am-finish, rotating Sundays 7am-finish
- Pay: Starting pay rate of $17/hr with frequent increase opportunities in the first 90 days and semi-frequent through the next 18 months.
