Our commitment is to deliver the best service in the business! Position Overview : The National Accounts Executive role reports to the Director of National Accounts.
This is a non-commissioned sales role, focusing on chain, institutional, and school accounts.
Specific focus area may vary depending on business needs. Responsibilities :
- Build successful relationships with school and chain account customers by initiating regular calls to ensure program account orders and assist customers with placing orders if necessary.
- Provide superior consultative sales and service to foster strong customer relationships.
- Provide and update customized product order guides for proprietary items.
- Conduct business reviews with customers to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and address any issues.
- Notify customers of outages or shortages and assist in finding substitutions where applicable.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the National Accounts team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Finance to align account objectives with overall company goals.
- Work closely with Merchandising to ensure proper inventory levels of needed products are maintained and available to assigned customers.
Prepare and present projected usage information to Merchandising in a timely manner.
