What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cash-Wa Store Clerk - Monday thru Friday position at Cash-Wa?
This position works within our Cash & Carry store where you will work with customers on their orders for primarily food product purchases. This will require excellent customer service both in person and over the phone as you trouble shoot with customers on what they need and match with what we have available as you search for products in our computer system. Once confirmed, you will enter into the billing system, collect payment, and potentially help deliver to the customer's car. Products typically weigh up to 50 pounds, and can occasionally weigh more.
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
Wage: $15.50/hr
Summary:
Job Duties (generally listed in order of responsibility)
- Register
- Correctly do voids and returns as needed
- Process payments to include credit card and cash, and ensuring the correct amounts are entered and change given
- May assist customers with carrying products to their car
- Opening and closing POS system/cash drawer
- Customer Service
- Help customers find requested items
- Assist with ideas for purchases that fit their needs
- Other duties as necessary
- Product Placement: During down times will ensure that products are in the correct location, stocked and front facing.
- Store Cleanliness: During down times may sweep, pick up items, and generally ensure good store presentation
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalency
- Ability to read orders and correctly pull product
- Good customer service
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 80 lbs
