Transportation Department Manager
Job Summary:

CashMan Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Department Manager to oversee all aspects of our armored transportation operations. This role is responsible for managing department personnel, optimizing route efficiency, ensuring equipment functionality, and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong decision-making skills and a commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Personnel Management:
- Supervise and manage all Transportation Department staff, including Guards, Remote Guards, Couriers, and the Dispatch Team.
- Oversee staffing, approve or deny time-off requests, and collaborate with HR on personnel-related matters.
- Participate in the hiring process, conduct performance reviews, and provide mentorship and support to team members.
- Foster a positive, professional, and cohesive working environment.
Operations & Logistics:
- Coordinate with the Dispatch Team to ensure daily route planning and execution are efficient and effective.
- Work closely with the Corporate Trainer to develop and maintain department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain expertise in all transportation and dispatch software to optimize department performance.
- Ensure all transportation equipment, including truck cameras, body cameras, and GPS systems, is functional and coordinate necessary repairs with IT.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety and security protocols.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications, including a DOT Card, Armored Car Security License, and SIDA Badge.
- Collaborate with management to implement best practices for risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.

Technical & Certification Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a DOT Card, Armored Car Security License, and SIDA Badge.
- Familiarity with transportation and dispatch software is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (45 hours per week).
- Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
