POSITION SUMMARY
The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site services to clients. This role involves diagnosing and resolving equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the optimal functionality of technical systems. The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective solutions, contributing to the overall success of service operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Travel to client locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain technical systems and equipment.
- Execute routine inspections and preventive maintenance procedures to maximize equipment reliability.
- Diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform equipment repairs and replacements, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their technical concerns and providing clear explanations of service procedures.
- Educate clients on equipment usage, maintenance, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service activities, including service reports, equipment status, and parts used.
- Provide comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting procedures and resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support, engineering, and sales, to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.
- Provide feedback to improve product design and service processes.
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly and efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
- Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
- Ability to work and interact well with others.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate degree in related technical field is required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in material handling automation, equipment repair, general maintenance, customer service, or another related field, if degreed. Minimum of 4 years of experience in material handling automation, equipment repair, general maintenance, customer service, or another related field, if non-degreed.

- Knowledge of electronics, networks, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.

- Low voltage experience.
- Familiar with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs and logic.
SPECIAL DEMANDS
- Requires regular, extensive travel.
- May require occasional weekend and evening work hours.
