Entry Level - No Experience Needed
From roller coaster heights to kiddie ride delights - be a part of the team that creates lifelong memories by becoming a bright smiling, safety certified, well trained, fun expert; or what we like to call... a ride operator! What do you need to apply? Be 16 or older, have a positive and upbeat attitude, a smiling face, be outgoing and have a willingness to learn. We'll do the rest by training you along the way. You'll be trained for specific ride operations, procedures and safety inspections, guest service and assigned to operate various rides and attractions.
My Day As An Operator Looks Like:
- Following all safety precautions as well as complying with all Casino Beach Pier LLC policies and procedures
- Respectfully interacting with guests in a positive, fun and safe way
- Accurately checking height for every rider and enforcing accompanying rider policies
- Collecting an admission fee for every rider
- Being responsible for the safe daily operations of rides and attractions
- Safely assisting guests on and off rides and attractions
- Assuring all aspects of the ride cycle comply with normal safety procedures
- Operating all rides in a safe manner consistent with operating procedures
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment for guests and team members
- Being rotated throughout multiple rides and working well with coworkers to safely control the ride

- Safely performing job duties that are explained during comprehensive ride operator and safety training
- Accurately checking heights for every rider and enforcing accompanying rider policy

- Interacting with customers by greeting them and answering questions
- Collecting proper admission
- Enforcing height restrictions
- Explaining and enforcing safety regulations
Ride Operator Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and perform safety hand signals
- This position is very active and requires long periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- The employee will be working mainly outdoors and exposed to all types of weather and loud noises throughout the day
Ride Operator Expected Hours of Work:
We require that employees are available to work a varied schedule. We require that you be available to work weekends and holidays from April to October. Employees are expected to commit to their posted schedule and follow the policies of Casino Pier Pier LLC with requesting a change of schedule. Employees must submit any requests for time off with two weeks' notice.
