What are the responsibilities and job description for the COUNT TEAM SUPERVISOR position at Casino Fandango?
Job Description:
Supervise the team members to perform the daily drop of all slot machines and table games in the casino. Remove the bill validators from the machines and replace them with an empty one.
Job Requirements:
- Oversee the daily department operations of the count team.
- Complete staff scheduling and determining staffing needs.
- Communicate department issues, guest complaints and compliments to management.
- Be responsible in maintaining a balanced vault.
- Be responsible for the pick-up and replacement of bill validation boxes from all slot machines on the casino floor.
- Be responsible for directing the carts which carry the hot & cold BV cans to and from the soft count room.
- Accurately log/count and maintain all count sheet reports.
- Enter count information into the computer systems to be forwarded to accounting.
- Keep current the GCB letter of drop & count times as well as any emergency drop/count letters.
- Perform weekly payroll functions for department, interviewing, hiring, & reviews for all department team members.
- Maintain & repair Kiosks on the casino floor. Logging or calling for repairs to necessary company.
- Wheel the carts with the validation boxes away to be counted.
Education and Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Knowledge of SDS & CMP programs a plus.
- Must be able to conduct hands-on training with verbal instructions given.
- Must have previous experience in handling cash.
- Must be able to use a 10 key and have strong computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of S.D.S, or Casino Market Place is a plus.
- High School Diploma and/or GED required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have previous supervisor experience and the ability to lead others.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to work early mornings and weekends.
- The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
