Job Description:
The Revenue Audit Clerk will be responsible for the auditing of food and beverage/casino revenue accounting and support the Finance Department.
Job Requirements:
- Track pertinent information for the casino.
- Responsible for the daily audits of Table Games, Slots, Food & Beverage, Cage, Keno, & Kiosks.
- Responsible for making sure everything balances out in various audit accounts
- Lend your support to your department in a variety of other duties when needed.
- Comply with all policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in performing all aspects of the assigned responsibilities.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow team members, and vendors.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Previous accounting experience is required.
- Knowledge of gaming MICS.
- Must possess math skills to ensure all transactions are properly executed.
- Knowledge of tax practices, IRS levies, check garnishments law, sales and use tax, etc.
- Ability to compose detailed, concise, and accurate documents, such as reports, policies, procedures, and correspondence.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and e-mail with the ability to acquire proficiency in numerous other applications.
- Ability to promptly respond to common inquiries, complaints, or requests from various internal and external parties in a professional manner.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work successfully on his/her own with minimal supervision.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
- Pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
- Must be able to successfully pass an Accounting and Microsoft Excel test.
- Must possess the ability to handle sensitive and stressful situations with tact, discretion, and significant awareness of confidentiality.
- Must be knowledgeable and proficient with a 10-key.
- Must be able to keep multiple tasks and accounts organized.
- Weekends are required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, have good time management and comprehension.
- Must possess good organizational skills and be able to multi-task when conducting the assigned functions.
