What are the responsibilities and job description for the Table Games Dealer position at CASINO PAUMA?
SUMMARY:
Deal Poker or other card games as assigned. Maintain the highest standards of customer service, game protection and integrity in the Table Games department.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deal cards, shuffle, make change/chip buys, take and pay customer bets.
- Communicate with customers to answer questions.
- Implement all dealing procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Entry level position.
- One year dealing experience (preferred) in a casino with similar betting limits.
- Must be able to successfully pass an audition of dealing skills.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Ability to work effectively with coworkers and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of effective money handling procedures.
- Ability to make change and mentally perform basic math calculations.
- Skilled in resolving customer and employee relation issues.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
- Constantly walking and standing.
- Constant hearing, seeing and talking.
- Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.

- Excessive noise and smoke.
