Retail Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales/Stock Room Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience by assisting customers with their needs and ensuring the store is well-presented. In the stock room, you will fulfill on-line sales orders and work with the Stock Room Coordinator to maintain organization.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively sell merchandise.
• Stock shelves and organize displays to ensure products are readily available for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
• Picking and packing on-line orders that come to the shop rather than the warehouse. (10-20 per week)

Requirements

• Previous experience in luxury retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with cash registers and POS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
