Summary:
The Workforce Training Coordinator develops and manages open enrollment, customized training, programs and conference services for Casper College’s Workforce Development department within the School of Business and Industry.
Responsibilities:
The Workforce Training Coordinator works with clients and internal staff to plan, develop, organize, schedule, implement, and evaluate workforce training and professional development open enrollment classes, customized training, programs and conference services. This position establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external constituencies; ensures programs meet client expectations, are completed on time and within budget; and researches community and workforce trends to ensure classes and programs meet market demands with high impact.
Essential Duties
Plan, develop, organize, schedule, implement, and evaluate workforce training and professional development open enrollment classes, customized training, programs and conference services.
Research community and workforce trends to ensure classes and programs meet market demands with high impact.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, College personnel, instructors, presenters and vendors.
Develop and implement marketing plans for classes, training, programs and conferences.
Identify, hire and manage instructors, including establishing their work assignments, consulting with them, negotiating and executing contracts, and providing oversight of payment for their instructional services.
Coordinate special community and workforce training projects, as assigned, including promotion, identification and oversight of trainers, setting up training sites, procuring and providing necessary supplies, resolving technical issues, monitoring training quality, evaluating training, and tracking project data such as training participation and outcomes.
Develop, coordinate and manage outside funding opportunities to support workforce training and professional development classes, training, programs, and conferences.
Assess classes, contract training, programs and conferences and develop continuous improvement plans.
Utilize enrollment and registration management system including data management and report analysis.
Maintain programmatic, client and individual records.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a professional environment with a focus on client relationship management
Experience with project management, program development and assessment
Highly organized, able to set priorities and meet deadlines, good time management skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency at using computers and software including MS Office and Google products
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Valid motor vehicle license at the time of hire and must obtain a Wyoming driver’s license within 30 days of hire. Must be insurable under the College’s insurance plan at the time of hire.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
Supervisory experience

Work Environment:
Short periods of time will be spent outdoors traveling between campus buildings in various weather conditions. Frequent interaction with the public will occur (students, employees, community members). Work is usually performed during the normal workday, however, early morning, late evening, and weekend work may be required. Travel to work-related events, conferences, and other related duties is required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
