Job Summary:

The Radiology Facilitator serves as a vital link between radiologists and staff of remote healthcare facilities, streamlining communication and ensuring efficient workflow. This role is responsible for managing requests, resolving issues, and enhancing the quality of service to improve patient care and physician satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Field requests from Casper Medical Imaging radiologists for information necessary to provide professional radiology interpretations.
  • Field requests from offsite healthcare personnel regarding professional radiology interpretations.
  • Maintain documentation of problem submissions and resolution.
  • Collaborate with clinical and information technology resources to improve efficiency.


Additional Duties:

  • Handle frontline phone communications between radiologists and remote sites.
  • Assist with additional duties, including scheduling and medical records requests as needed.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • Clinical experience in a radiology or healthcare setting is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Proficient in medical terminology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Critical thinker
  • Can work without direction, but also effective in a team environment.
  • Self-starter, driven to excel.


Required qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience assisting medical providers, preferably in a radiology setting.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States of America and provide proof per the USCIS requirements.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Ability to read and write from paper and computer system.
  • Professional attitude and willingness to take accountability for their actions.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Must be receptive to constructive criticism and feedback.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and polite telephone manner.
  • Typing, computer, and organizational skills are required with the ability to multitask.


Work Environment:

  • Cubical setting
  • Availability to stand or sit for ergonomic benefits
  • Must be able to stand or sit for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Equipment you will use daily includes a phone, computer, scanner, printer, fax & copy machine.

Position Details:

  • Reports to Radiology Administrative Manager
  • In-person, on-site in Casper, WY
  • Full-time
  • Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime)
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Rate of pay dependent upon experience.
