WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
This pivotal role offers a competitive salary ranging from $88,659 - $103,439 per year, reflecting your expertise and dedication to enhancing our community. Enjoy a schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing you time to recharge and attend to your personal pursuits.
All that you need is :
- Valid driver's license
- Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in real estate appraisal
- 3 years in a managerial role
- Valid North Dakota State Class 1 Assessor's certificate or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire
- Knowledge of tax assessment procedures
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to defend assessments and effectively explain the process
- Ability to operate necessary computer software, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal Systems (CAMA), & Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with peers, superiors, and external government agencies
