What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Technologist position at Cass County Memorial Hospital?
The Surgical Technologist provides limited direct patient care under the supervision of the RN. Activities include handling instruments, supplies and equipment for surgical procedures, understanding of procedure being performed and anticipating needs of surgeon, maintaining the sterile field, clean and prepare instruments for disinfection and sterilization, assist other members with room turnover and cleaning.

- Certification of Surgical Technology or LPN Licensure in the State of Iowa

- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge
