What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Apprentice position at Cass Health?

Cass Health is currently looking for individuals interested in pursuing a career in nursing or currently pursuing a career in nursing to join our team as a nursing registered apprenticeship. The registered apprenticeship program includes a combination of on-the-job learning and traditional classroom work at a neighboring community college.
Participants must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in a nursing program at either Iowa Western Community College (IWCC).
Education and Experience Requirements
EDUCATION:

Required: High diploma or GED

Following IWCC prerequisites completed or will be completed by May 2025.

Developmental Psychology

Human Anatomy and Physiology I

Anatomy and Physiology II

Successfully passed the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Examination with a composite score of 58.7% or higher or will by April 1, 2025.
