What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Associate position at Cassaday & Company?
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Associate supportt the entire firm and its client base as a member of the Technology team. In this role, you'll report directly to the Director of Information Technology and will interface directly with C-suite executives, firm employees, and our clientele.
RESPONSIBILITITES
- Respond to technology queries over the phone, via email, in person, and/or through remote access.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the firm's network servers, hardware, software, office equipment, conference room video and audio equpiment, and remote access platforms.
- Troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, software, phone systems, and office equpiment.
- Set up new hire computers and remote access equipment.
- Provide new hire training and onboarding sessions.
- Collaborate with Controller & Office Manager to ensure all inventory is labeled, tracked, and updated within our asset inventory management system.
- Assist clients and Cassaday employees with client portal requests.
- Special projects or tasks as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in related field (computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or similar)
- Knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc.)
- Knowledge of MS Sharepoint
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- The ability to work with all levels of management and anticipate support requirements
- The ability to exercise independent judgement with minimal supervision
- The ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with regards to client and personnel matters.
