POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of Cassaday & Company, a top wealth management firm in the country and Virginia’s #1 financial advisor, you will join our team as a member of the HR Department.
This position supports the firm by implementing and managing the company’s recruiting and new hire onboarding programs. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources, and will have regular interaction with senior executives, internal departments, and external candidates.
RESPONSIBILTIES
· Implement & manage the firm’s recruitment strategy
o Interface with firm Management to create job descriptions and map out interview processes
o Interface with headhunters & staffing agencies
o Administer TrakStar HIRE Program, to include:
§ Posting open positions
§ Reviewing resumes and performing screening calls
§ Interfacing with candidates
§ Monitoring application and candidate status
§ Coordinating and scheduling on-site interviews
§ Coordinating offers with hiring Manager and HR Manager
o Ensure employee referrals process is followed and documented
· Implement and manage the firm’s New Hire Onboarding process
o Interface with hiring Manager, Office Manager, Tech, and Benefits & Payroll Specialist to set up new hire accounts, workstation, and complete paperwork.
o Assist creation of onboarding schedule and 30-60-90 day plan.
o Follow new hires through first 90-days to ensure seamless onboarding & training.
o Check in with hiring Manager at 30, 60, and 90-days post hire; sit in on 90-day employee reviews.
· Administer the new hire Cassaday Ambassador Program
o To include coordination and follow-up with Cassaday Ambassadors and new hires through the first 6 months to ensure new hires understand and meet Cassaday cultural expectations.
o Collect feedback from both new hires & tenured staff to suggest changes and improvements to the program.
· Other Projects and Tasks as requested
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) required.
- 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced recruiting position.
- Prior experience in the wealth management or finance industry a plus.
- Experience with Trakstar/Recruiterbox/Miratech Recruitment systems a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- High level of initiative; a self-starter who thrives in a team environment.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
